ASDA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION – PRIVACY POLICY
PRIVACY POLICY
ABA Market Research Limited are committed to protecting your
privacy and the information you provide whilst visiting our website or filling out
one of our surveys (whether hosted on our own website or other websites on our behalf).
WHILST YOU ARE VISITING OUR SITE
Our web servers record which pages you visit and also the IP
address of all our visitors. We only ever use this information in aggregate form
to improve the content of our site by analysing the most popular pages, and routes
to our site, etc. We do not recognise your email address as part of this process.
From time to time we monitor browser types, size of screens
and whether cookies are used to help us investigate why some people but not others
have problems with websites. If you believe ABA Market Research Limited has not
adhered to our privacy policy, please contact us and we will endeavour to promptly
resolve the problem.
WHEN YOU COMPLETE ONE OF OUR SURVEYS
ABA Market Research Limited will not mislead you about the
nature of the research or how the data will be used. If you receive an invitation
to take part in one of our surveys, it will be because:
- You were randomly selected from a database of ‘qualified’ sample supplied by our
client.
- You have given permission for a company to supply your details to a third party
for research purposes and ABA Market Research Limited has purchased a random sample
of this list containing your record.
- You are randomly selected from visitors to a particular web site (i.e. every 100th
visitor might be invited).
- You have taken part in previous research administered by ABA Market Research Limited
and given us your permission to contact you in the future for research purposes.
We often ask survey respondents for personal information such
as age, sex, occupation, etc, this information only used in aggregate basis to determine
which groups of people think certain things more than others. It is not identified
to you personally.
All of your responses are treated as confidential unless you
specifically give your consent to the contrary.
Certain solutions require us to email people invitations to
take part in our survey. We do not "spam" or send emails to people who have not
given their permission. If you have been sent an email by ABA Market Research Limited
and you do not believe you have given your permission or just wish your name to
be removed from the database, let us know and we will ask the list provider to remove
it.
Sitecentric solutions often require us to ask respondents for
their email address, if they are willing for their responses to the survey and their
email address to be passed on to the client sponsoring the research. In this case,
ABA Market Research Limited or the sponsor may contact you again concerning this
or other research projects. ABA Market Research Limited and the sponsoring client
will never use this email address for any other purpose apart from genuine research.
Furthermore it will not be passed on to third parties.
If you would like your email address removed from this database,
please notify us and we will ensure your email address is removed.
Your co-operation to every ABA Market Research Limited survey
is voluntary at all times, and we are always thankful for your help. You are entitled
at any stage or subsequently to ask that part or all of the record of your interview
be destroyed or deleted. Wherever reasonable and practical, we will carry out such
a request.
We try our best not to interview children under 15 without
first getting the permission of their parents before the interview commences.
